Some pages you'll find on the web site: Daily Bible Readings, Forum, Hoppy, Shekinah Church, Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma, and links to Cimarron Baptist Association, the BGCO, the SBC, Prophecy in the News, Last Days Ministries, Chick tracts (including 2 interactive readable tracts), Wall Builders, and Answers in Genesis. Check it out! If your church doesn't have a web site we can set one up through tugministries.com . Your address would be tugministries.com/YOURCHURCHNAME, which would take people directly to your church page instead of TUG's home page. I can design your page or you can. And it's free! Contact me and ask for details. If your church has a web page, I would like to add its link to our church page.

definitely a message needing to be heard in mainstream America. "I think this relatively unknown legislator has a message that needs to be shared around the country. A pox on the ACLU and all their apologist. It's time that the Christian majority be respected and treated fairly by our legislators, journalists and jurists instead of being constantly ridiculed and berated. Take time to listen to this speech that was presented in the U.S. House of Representatives and share it if you agree..........Jack" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpQOCvthw-o The TUG Report

prodigal with a whole lot more. I'm not sure what I thought prodigal meant. Maybe that it was the boy's name (Luke 15:11 - 32). Most subtitles on that passage nowadays says it is the story of the 'lost son'. And that is probably what I really thought prodigal meant, wayward, wanderer, straying son. The real meaning makes for a more intriguing interpretation of what Jesus was trying to tell us. And there is a good, an upside to being prodigal. First, the son. He was an idiot. Selfish, full of himself. He had everything he needed and probably wanted. A father that loved him, home, possessions, and an older brother that did most of the work (the last part was editorializing). But the kid had heard stories of what was going on in the 'real world'. His daddy's rules and lifestyle were obviously not conducive to partying hardy. So the youngest son asked for his inheritance. An insult to his still living father. This kid in squandering all that he has with his family and home. Throwing it away. Then he takes what his father gives him, runs off to the world's party and waste all that he had. Ends up in the pig pen thinking what he was feeding the pigs looked mighty tasty. How much we are like the prodigal. We squander the blessings of God. We whine and belly ache about how rough things are and all the while, we are the most prosperous nation in the world. Christians know the grace and mercy of God and yet we waste our lives whining about how much we wish we had or what we need or how bad things are all around us. Christians have become prodigal in living in the power of the resurrection, in the riches of His grace. We squander our spiritual heritage. Americans are prodigal in our resources, our wisdom, and our Christian/constitutional heritage. What about the upside of prodigal I mentioned? God's grace, mercy, love, and blessings. He doesn't know how to stop lavishing these on us. The most wonderful part of the prodigal story is the fact that the Father is watching and waiting for us to return from our wasteful living. And when we get back home He treats us as only a loving Father can. Restores the relationship as it was before the sinfulness. Blesses like we never left. How exciting to be the child of God and to realize that we don't understand the beginning of the depths of His love and mercy. To be overwhelmed by His love, joy, and peace! CAN I GET AN "AMEN!", somebody?
