How To Become a Christian 1- Realize that you are a sinner! "There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 2- Realize the penalty for sin! "For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23 3- Realize that God arranged for the penalty to be paid! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only be gotten son. That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 4- Realize that the only thing you can do to enter a relationship with God is to believe! "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves. It is a gift from God." Ephesians 2:8 "That if you will shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9 & 10 "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 Are you ready to realize a relationship with Jesus Christ? All you need to do is pray a prayer in your own words telling God that you agree with His word (above) and that you want Jesus to be Lord of your life. He will forgive you your sins and place His Holy Spirit in your life to guide you in right living. Share this decision with 2 or 3 people in the next hour. Follow the Lord's example of baptism.
